Build and assess anchors, then bail off!

Our Anchor Building and Rappelling clinic is meant to give you an introduction to the components that go into a secure anchor. We will discuss both traditional and sport anchors. The second part of our clinic will walk you though rappelling techniques.

What's included

  • Rock Climbing instruction

  • Set up gear (ropes, quick draws, anchoring gear)
  • Personal gear can be rented

  • Personal rock climbing gear ($8 / Person)

Required Skills

  • Ability to safety top rope belay
  • Ability to tie a figure 8 follow through knot
  • Ability to hike up to 1 mile on uneven terrain with up to 25lbs

Tuition

$125 for an 8 hour day of instruction

Optional personal gear rental: $8/person
